I’m in Amsterdam. And damn, it’s great. The fresh air, the canals, the cold winter. It’s fantastic.

While I’ve been overseas in this freezing weather, I’ve had to change the makeup I would usually wear in Australia, as it seems everything tries to dry out my skin. I’ve started using Clarins moisturiser on a more regular basis (along with Clarins’ beauty flash balm), and have put aside the MAC BB cream compact and picked up Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturiser instead.

So, here’s my list of 2015 makeup:

It may just be because I’m in a cold European winter, but these products have gotten me through it, never smudging, never faltering, never failing me.

With the Provocalips by Rimmel, it’s actually kinda difficult to get the lipstick off. I had a NYE party, a shower, a sleep, breakfast and (yeah) some kissing with The Boyf, and it didn’t come off. I scrubbed, I scratched, I scraped, but it wouldn’t come off! I had to bite it all off in the end, leaving me with a very unattractive almost-lipliner.

The Shimmer Brick by Bobbi Brown is amazing, with one simple brush up or down (I tend to swoosh down) being enough for each cheek. Plus, apparently it makes me look like some kind of wood nymph with all the sparkles.
